G.O.A.T.

Hi there, it’s Olivia!

I have noticed increased usage of the term G.O.A.T. lately. I am not sure how I feel about this. If I earned the status of being named the Greatest of All Time, I would want someone to actually say, “Greatest of All Time”. G.O.A.T. suggests that someone is old. Like “Hi there, you old goat!“ Would you agree?

September seems to be the month of celebrating the "Greatest of All Time" achievers. I just

received the September issue of Vogue, and it has my favorite supermodels on the cover. Well, really the only supermodels: Linda, Cindy, Naomi, and my absolute love, Christy Turlington. As I flipped through the pages, I was reminded of why I fell in love with fashion. I felt the excitement that comes with the changing seasons, and fall just so happens to be my favorite. Red and golden leaves floating to nature’s floor, the crisp cool morning air, and backyard bonfires. Bring out your denim, cozy cashmere, oversized wool blazers, boots, and leather jackets! Let’s not forget about New York Fashion Week. Who cares about celebrities, I want to see the clothes!!

Speaking of the "Greatest of All Time," did anyone catch the Ralph Lauren Spring 2024 fashion show? They are posting the entire show to their Instagram feed, @ralphlauren. A-MA-ZING!! Every piece was TO DIE FOR, especially the vintage indigo masterpieces, manipulated lace dresses, and magenta and green charmeuse harem pants with washed bias plaid accents. If that wasn’t enough of a feast for the eyes, the finale featured Christy Turlington gliding down the runway in a liquid gold gown. Ahhhh!! I couldn’t take it! It was so beautiful! You MUST check it out!
