Is your green light on?

Well, the girls and I are back from our surfing adventure! We will have stories for a lifetime from that trip. And re-entry is tough! Do you know what I am talking about? That vacation jet lag? Not from the transition of time zones, but more the transition from vacation mode to the responsibilities of real life.

I was thinking about something that Charlie said to me when we were in Costa Rica. She was talking about how each of us has a different light on at certain moments in our lives.

That really resonated with me. In the past, I was walking around with a permanent yellow light on.

Proceeding with caution and constantly worried. My adrenals were overloaded. And when my green light went on it was telling me to RUN! Now my green light is telling a different story. Saying yes to all that the universe has to offer. What light do you have on?

Speaking of GREEN, I love all the green styles that are trending right now! I remember the Malachite pantone being in WGSN forecast reports, but I am seeing every shade green out there. Grass, Spring, Emerald, Kelly…they are all so fresh and striking! I am particularly inspired by what brands like Me + Em and Tuckernuck are creating with this color. And the prints are amazing! I highly recommend checking them out and the dresses featured in Chapter 2.
