Hi There! Happy Easter!
My trip to NYC was nothing short of spectacular! Every time I visit New York it always exceeds my expectations. Big city, bright lights, and the latest fashion, so, when Eva invited me to stay with her for a weekend, I knew I couldn't say no.

The trip was all about exploring the latest spring fashion collections, finding inspiration, shopping and eating to our heart's content, flirting with the hottest city guys, and most importantly, cherishing the bond of our friendship. So, let's dive into our weekend of adventure!
Our first stop for the weekend was Cucina Alba, a cozy Italian restaurant with a warm ambiance and an incredible culinary experience. We tried the truffle burrata and it was absolutely delizioso! What a great way to kick off the trip! After dinner, we went to Le Bain at the Standard Hotel, a rooftop bar with stunning views of the city. My Kurt Geiger studded stilettos were the perfect companions when I was dancing and flirting with Xavier from London all night. He was traveling on an international business trip for his brother’s company and couldn’t resist my Southern accent! It was a magical night, and I couldn't resist his British accent either!
The next day, we visited The Metropolitan Museum of Art, one of the largest art museums in the world with the most extensive collections. The Impressionist wing was our first stop, and I was enchanted to see my all-time favorite painting Renoir's “In the Meadow”. The use of colors and techniques in the painting is simply mesmerizing. We also visited Van Gogh, Manet, and Matisse, leaving me in awe of another time period.
Next, we visited the Ralph Lauren Mansion, where we were surrounded by luxury silks, cashmere, and lace. As we made our way down each floor the most notable was the sage and ivory collection with pops of bright purple, it looked so chic! We continued to explore Madison Avenue, where we went to Reiss, Oscar de la Renta, and Alice & Olivia. The bright spring colors were everywhere; Tangerine orange, cornflower blue, sunshine yellow, fuchsia pink, and were so happy and playful.
After a full day of shopping, we went back to Eva’s apartment to freshen up before dinner, but never made it back out! We were so wiped out! So we ordered in pizza, put on our Sephora face masks, and caught up on Season 3 of Emily in Paris. Sometimes you just need a night of doing nothing, and even better with a friend like Eva!
The next morning we started the day off with brunch at NoMo SoHo Kitchen, another must-eatery experience. And then continued shopping as we popped in and out of SoHo boutiques. and to Raoul’s, for an impromptu mimosa to gain access to the bathrooms- a quaint hidden treasure.
We finished the last drops of this inspiration trip discovering a new store called Piombo, which had some beautiful pieces. We also visited the tried-and-true Sple
ndor, Cotopaxi, Restoration, and of course,
. It was a productive adventure, and I am sure Kate will be happy with my purchases and inspiration pics. Though, is Kate really ever happy? That is a topic for another day.
The weekend went by too quickly, but it was full of adventure, inspiration, and most importantly, friendship. New York never disappoints, and I cannot wait to go back.
Until next week!
Love, Olivia
