Where should I go from here?

Spring is the season of transition in the Mountains, waiting out the days from ski season to mountain biking season, and are now in the thick of mud season. I'm sure some of you are wondering what “mud” season is, so let me explain. Mud season takes place during the spring months between ski season and mountain biking season, and as the name suggests, it's the gloomy season of rain and melting snow, resulting in muddy conditions everywhere you go, which is a big inconvenience for everyone, especially tourists.

This results in many businesses cutting back their hours and pricing deals for “locals”. This has become one of my favorite times of the year as a “local” resident- yes, I consider myself a “local” now! I get to enjoy some great perks like discounted rates at resort spas like St. Regis and The Waldorf and get to indulge in multiple 2-for-1 deals. Phoebe and I have already taken full advantage of these discounts and had some fantastic meals at some of the best restaurants in town.

But with that being said, the gloomy weather is affecting my seasonal vibe, and I am ready for a big dose of sunshine and relaxation. I recently purchased two beautiful sundresses, a floral print midi dress from Farm Rio and a brilliant green sleeveless number from Me + Em. Of course, the question now is where should I go to show off my new frocks and soak up some fun in the sun? I'm open to suggestions, so let me know your recommendations!
